A blog post by the game’s maker, Niantic, says the process could ultimately help AI learn about complex three-dimensional spaces that could prove useful for future augmented reality technologies and possibly robotic applications, too. Explaining Niantic's AI-focused work, Mashable said that in simple terms it means that actions performed by gamers playing Pokémon Go have been helping to train the geospatial AI in a similar way to how text-based articles on the web train chatbots like ChatGPT ... |

Sometimes it's good to see what else is out there |
Digital Trends mobile specialist Christine Romero-Chan has been happy enough with various iterations of her Apple Watch over the last decade, but recently she decided to take the Google Pixel Watch 3 for a spin to check out the competition. After wearing it for a few weeks, she’s come to really love it. Romero-Chan adored the Pixel Watch 3’s circular design compared to the square one offered by the Apple Watch that makes it “look like a piece of tech on your wrist.” She also praised the Pixel Watch 3's wide variety of “fresh and fun” watch faces, and described Wear OS as “pretty great” ... |

Microsoft apologizes for Flight Simulator 2024's disastrous launch
|
Severe turbulence hit the launch of the popular flight sim this week |
Players started reporting issues with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 immediately after it launched on Xbox, PC, and Xbox Game Pass on Tuesday.
