It's almost the weekend, which means that breakfast is already at the top of my mind. You too?
Whether you’re after something super filling (hello, all-you-can-eat breakfastdeals) or a lighter-on-the-stomach situation (maybe just a matcha, thanks), Dubai's restaurants and cafés serve up some tasty next-level morning meals.
But let's be real... not every breakfast out there is perfect.
Sometimes the eggs are overcooked, or the first sip of coffee isn’t as good as you'd hoped. But that’s all part of the food discovery journey, right? Besides, we've had some pretty uninspiring meals trying to find the best ones for you.
Ready to breakfast? Here are five places worth your time this weekend:
Alica Bakery
Relatively new-ish on the scene but home to a breakfast that's worth driving down to Port De La Mer for. The morning tray isn't just nice to look at, it's also delicious.
Arabian Tea House
If you're feeling a bit nostalgic, head down to Al Fahidi for an Emirati breakfast tray at Arabian Tea House, which includes both savoury and sweet mini plates of food. PS don't skip the karak.
Çeşme Bazlama Kahvaltı
A cute little villa in Jumeirah serving an all-you-can-eat Turkish breakfast that absolutely slaps. Incredible service + food that you won't be able to stop thinking about = a breakfast worth every Dirham.
Hadoota Masreya
This longstanding Egyptian restaurant on Sheikh Zayed Road serves up an amazing breakfast, especially the authentic Egyptian feteer meshaltet (IYKYK).
Lana Lusa
One of the dreamiest breakfast spots in town. At Lana Lusa, located by the canal, you're getting the classics done well (eggs Benny, pancakes, avo toast). Finish with a pasteis de nata and coffee.
So, what are your favourite breakfast spots? I’m dying to know. Hit me up at yousra.zaki@itp.com.
