Thabo Mbeki has painted the tenure of his ANC successor Jacob Zuma as being riddled with maleficence and dishonesty that he could not publicly associate with.

Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan said the public protector was behaving in a manner not befitting her office by falsely accusing him of colluding with others.

The SABC Board terminated the contract of employment of its COO Chris Moraleng, the state-owned public broadcaster said.
