It is certainly wonderful to see that the efforts across the province are having a positive effect with bending the curve and reducing the transmission of COVID-19 in our community. We have some good news to share with you! We are very pleased to introduce the name of our new facility at Cypress Mountain Resort - the “Eagle Coaster”, which is scheduled to open in early July. Tickets are now on sale for the Eagle Coaster, click on the link above and book your experience now.
Our Operations Team is working extremely hard and making excellent progress with the installation. The Eagle Coaster ride will take off from the top of Eagle Express on Black Mountain and travel over 1700 metres along 279 vertical metres of vertical drop. The Eagle Coaster will be suitable and great fun for all ages and physical capabilities – young tots can even enjoy the experience riding on the lap of an adult! Riders can safely reach thrilling speeds of up to 40 km/h winding down the track with forested vistas and exciting bends.
This exciting new activity fits seamlessly within our vision for enhanced year-round accessibility to our world class public recreation facilities. The Eagle Coaster is the perfect centrepiece to support family-focused summer recreational activity.
