This year's theme, “Other Springs: Blooms from the Global South” (Outras Primaveras: Florações do Sul Global), marks a milestone—our first-ever conference in Latin America in our 32-year history!


Hosted by Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) and supported by the São Paulo State Government, the conference draws inspiration from Lélia Gonzalez’s writings and the concept of amefricanity, celebrating Indigenous and African influences in Latin American cultural life.
