What's the future of the central biz district?

This week brought a big sign of the change that could be underway in downtown Baltimore as we emerge from the pandemic.

Transamerica became the latest corporate leader in the city to say it'll move east to Harbor Point, joining T. Rowe Price and others.

But there's new faces coming north of Inner Harbor, as well. As we reported, Alertus is moving its HQ from Beltsville to the city's "ticker" building. The technologists who work there will join thousands of state employees set to relocate from State Center.
