April is Earth Month!

"Go Green for the Red" this Earth Month

In March, the Office of Sustainability, along with partners CS40 and Habif, launched a new pilot program to offer free reusable period products to WashU students. The program kicked off with a panel of guests who advocate for access to reusable products as a strategy to reduce period poverty. Students can sign up to be a WashU Go Green for the Red Ambassador, which provides free menstrual cups and reusable pads (while supplies last) and support for those getting started. In addition, Ambassadors can provide feedback on the program, the products, and help document the interest and need to have these supplies available for students in the future.
