When I lived in the South, I came to love biscuits and gravy. Those southern ladies did a fine job with both.

I still love biscuits and gravy. But I do it the easy way--just add water. I add water for the biscuits, and I use a country gravy mix. I saute some burger and then assemble the three.

You don't have to use burger, country sausage is the classic. I like tuna gravy and often add diced onion, green peas, and a hard-boiled egg cut into chunks.


It's an easy way to have a quick weeknight supper.
