7 Tips for Climate-Wise Eating |
As California faces record-breaking heat waves and another devastating wildfire season, climate change is top of mind for all of us. | Wildfires Update + We Are Open
Our thoughts are with our farmers and community impacted by the fires burning across California. A number of our farmers have had to evacuate but are currently safe. The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market will be open as usual this weekend, and we are monitoring the air quality and checking in with our farmers and sellers. We expect most to be present (updates below), as they rely on the market as a critical part of their livelihoods. |
|
| Stay Safe at the Farmers Market |
As the Bay Area faces poor air quality, please exercise extra precautions when venturing outside. Limit your exertion and wear a protective (N95) mask, if you have one. Wear a cloth mask over a N95 to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Those with sensitive medical conditions should stay indoors. Check for updates at baaqmd.gov. Stay safe, and thank you for doing your part to keep your market community safe during the pandemic. |
