General Affairs and European Council still scheduled for next week

The Council of the European Union and European Council have decided to cancel non-essential and non-urgent Council meetings in March, but that does not include the meetings of the General Affairs Council on 24 March and European Council on 26-27 March. According to the agenda of the European Council meeting (video conference), the heads of state and government will revert to the issue of ensuring effective Union action to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to mitigate its effects. Building Financial Resilience at Turbulent Times: EBF Online Seminar

If you share the view that financial literacy is important for your well-being and personal prosperity, the European Banking Federation invites you to attend a special online seminar on 24 March about financial literacy and the importance of boosting financial education. The economic impact of the global Coronavirus pandemic - including the personal finance implications for society at large - will be considered in the discussions. This seminar was originally planned as a half-day workshop at the EBF offices to mark the 2020 European Money Week, which has been postponed. Several speakers have urged us not to cancel this event because financial literacy is particularly important at times of crisis. Info & registration
