Current activities on restrictions: guidelines for Aprotic solvents Following a request from the European Commission, we are updating the guideline for 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) (EC 212-828-1) by extending its scope to also cover: N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) (EC 200-679-5);N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAC) (EC 204-826-4); and1-ethylpyrrolidin-2-one (NEP) (EC 220-250-6).We expect to publish the guidelines within the first quarter of 2026. |
