Board of Appeal
Appeal concerning a completeness check decision dismissed Case A-011-2023 concerned the rejection of a registration as incomplete following a completeness check by ECHA. The Appellant argued that ECHA’s assessment of its registration went beyond a completeness check.
The Board of Appeal held that the Agency did not make an error in considering, within a completeness check process, that the adaptations submitted by the Appellant did not either relate to the relevant information requirement, set out grounds for the adaptation or contain specific scientific information which substantiated those grounds.

One Health
One Health governance in the EU Take a look at the scientific recommendation by the Scientific Advice Mechanism on strengthening the One Health approach in the EU.
The One Health approach recognises the inherent connection between human, animal and plant health and the health of our environment and the impact that this has on a wide range of policy areas.
ECHA contributes to the approach through its work for chemical safety.
