| The forecast for the four UK capitals was rain today, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast. But as I left my accommodation in central London for Westminster abbey a few hours ago it the cloud was so light you could see early morning blue. I write this from the North Transept with a limited view of proceedings. But it is remarkable to be in this vast yet intimate chamber of global leaders and national dignitaries and local community figures, with the mix of colourful dress and traditional suits and morning suits. Last night the flight over from Belfast was telling. It had various NI guests at the ceremony including Sinn Fein's Alex Maskey, whom I interview in video. Others, like the ex Ulster Unionist councillor Mark McKinty, a brass band member, wanted just to savour the music and occasion from the Mall. I hope the rain holds off.
