| reader I wanted to write to you personally to wish you Happy Lancashire Day. November 27 is the day we get to celebrate all the things that make Lancashire the wonderful place it is. The people, the culture, the history, the landmarks, the venues and the landscapes are all things to be celebrated. Being a born and bred Lancastrian myself, I am so proud to call this wonderful county my home. I love the real variety in experiences you can have all on your doorstep. From the hustle and bustle of city life in Preston, the bright lights and coastal attractions of Blackpool, the history in Lancaster to the beauty and tranquillity of the Ribble Valley and everything in between. We are so lucky. We don't often get the time to reflect on how special Lancashire and the people who live here are. So, here's to Lancashire Day! What makes Lancashire so special to you?
