Edwards warns Landry against undoing criminal justice reforms

With one of his signature accomplishments now under threat, Gov. John Bel Edwards is warning his successor, Jeff Landry, not to roll back Louisiana’s 2017 criminal justice reforms. 

Jon Batiste, who grew up in Kenner and is now one of the most acclaimed entertainers in the country, jammed with an atypical group of musicians Thursday in New Orleans. 

If you saw Sunday’s Saints game against the Lions, you probably cringed when Alvin Kamara was pushed out of bounds and into the legs of chain crew member Nick Piazza. Now you can read about it from Piazza’s point of view, and learn the plan for surgery and his prognosis for recovery.
