SPECIAL NEWS ALERT

Curtis wins race to replace Mitt Romney in Senate

The race to replace Utah Sen. Mitt Romney was called for 3rd District Congressman John Curtis by The Associated Press shortly after polls closed on Tuesday.

Utahans faced long lines at polling locations across the state, with wait times up to 1.5 to 2 hours, according to Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson.

"Polls are now closed, people in line before 8 pm can still vote," Henderson said on X.
