Good morning and happy Election Day. Here are some of today's top headlines.
Election Day: Millions of voters across Louisiana and the U.S. are headed to the polls today to cast ballots in what many view as the most important presidential election in recent history. While Louisiana voters are all but certain to go for Trump, several other local ballot measures have yet to be decided. Here's a look at the local races.
Tropical Storm Rafael: Tropical Storm Rafael formed over the Caribbean Sea on Monday afternoon and is expected to move into the Gulf of Mexico this week as a hurricane. While the storm appears to be headed generally toward Louisiana, forecasters say it's too soon to tell what impacts it might bring to the Gulf Coast. Here's what we know so far about the incoming storm.
'Utter terror': Between 2016 and 2019, Algiers residents were gripped by "utter terror" after a series of violent attacks on local women, including a brutal rape, according to DA Jason Williams.
