A Message From the Editor

Good Morning. It's election day in the U.S. and Americans are holding their breath, unsure of what tomorrow will bring. But elsewhere in the world, the legal industry carries on. Eversheds is shutting its office in Beijing -- the first U.K.-founded firm to do so, and Japanese firm Nagashima Ohno plans to launch an office in London. A litigation funder is backing a class action filed in Singapore against the Swiss government in the challenge to the write-down of billions of dollars worth of Credit Suisse-issued bonds, and the now-famous Bahia Emerald looks like it will soon be repatriated to Brazil.
