On the East Baton Rouge School Board, Connie Bernard lost her seat, one of several incumbents on the board to lose this year. Here's a rundown of her race and the three others. Meanwhile, Davante Lewis defeated three-term Public Service Commissioner Lambert Boissiere III, in a race that could have major implications for Louisiana utility companies and power bills. Other races of interest: Hunter Greene was elected to the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals, and voters handily approved taxes for the St. George fire department and East Baton Rouge sheriff.
