Good evening,

Good evening,

Virgin Australia's newly appointed administrators Deloitte hit the ground running hard on Tuesday morning.

Mere hours after getting the keys to the airline kingdom, partner Vaughan Strawbridge was on TVs around the country, saying they had received buyer interest from more than 10 parties and were hoping to have a deal stitched up within eight weeks.

Well, Street Talk wishes the 10-plus tyrekickers the best of luck (including Oaktree Capital Management, as we revealed on Tuesday).

Tonight we take a look at the elephant in Virgin's data room and it all comes down to three key, almost unanswerable questions.

Elsewhere, there's a new addition to the ranks at TPG Capital, which has recruited a dealmaker from rival private equity firm CPE Capital.

And while we're on the topic of CPE, we reveal which one of its offices will officially close at the end of this month.

Finally, we unveil what has got small cap utilities software outfit Energy One's shareholders riled up.

Happy reading,

Sarah Thompson, Anthony Macdonald and Tim Boyd
