Entertainers Moguls Athletes Locations

Going on their ninth real estate transaction of 2022, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have plunked down a record $70 million for two side-by-side properties in the coastal California town of Carpinteria, marking the biggest transaction in Santa Barbara County history. The 10-acre estate’s picturesque grounds include a marble mosaic pool, an outdoor kitchen, and a private beach area with an antique row boat. And just down south, British video game programmer Jez San bought a $45 million Bel Air home at auction, closing on the property over the summer. Highlights of that estate include an NFT art gallery, an at-home car museum and champagne tasting room.
