| Good morning Voornaam It may be Monday morning, but the week is full of hope and possibility as Scotland prepare to face Switzerland in their second game of Euro 2024. Friday may have been a difficult watch, but if any team is able to regroup and rebound, it's us. First up today, from the sports desk, 'embarrassing' England fan chant at Euros prompts Tartan Army comparison as trouble flares in Gelsenkirchen. Sports writer Matt Elder explains: "Musician and activist Billy Bragg has shared a video of England supporters signing the ‘10 German bombers’ song ahead of their opening match at Euro 2024 and insisted Scotland fans would not be heard doing the same. "German police had warned travelling England followers against singing the song – which mocks the death of German casualties during the Second World War – ahead of the tournament but admitted they are largely powerless to prevent it." He writes: "The fall-out from Brexit means Scottish independence is "further away than ever", Sir Tony Blair has said.
