Editor's Notes

How can technologists build with communities? What have we learned from the responses to a tumultuous 2020?

Those are just a couple of the questions we've been asking in the Technical.ly newsroom during Tech for the Common Good Month, which is our editorial calendar theme for this May.

On Friday, May 21, we'll be gathering to unpack the answers, and we want your help. Join our reporters and editors on Technical.ly's public Slack for a conversation on trends we're seeing emerge through our reporting, and how we're approaching our coverage.

It's a chance to get an inside look at our journalism, and add your voice to the conversation that shapes it. Come ready to share what you've been up to lately, and dig in on topics like how technologists are working on societal solutions, what's happened in the year since COVID-19 and the policies shaping efforts to increase digital access.

We'll be in the #ama channel on Technical.ly's public Slack from noon to 1 p.m. on May 21.

To get access to this and other conversations with technologists around the mid-Atlantic, join the Technical.ly Slack here.
