More companies will create the position of "Chief Impact Officer" whose role will include social responsibility, ethics and providing purpose to employees, writes Alex Budak, author of "Becoming a Changemaker." Target to offer office employees more flexibility

Target will permanently adopt a hybrid model for the 8,500 employees who work out of the retailer's downtown Minneapolis offices, giving individual workers and their teams the flexibility to determine when and how often they need to be in the office, the company said. The new policy came in response to employee feedback, and Target has redesigned some of its office spaces to include flex areas with temporary desks and meeting spaces.

"Supercommuters," or people whose one-way commute takes at least 90 minutes, have always existed, but supercommuting has increased during the pandemic and the shift to hybrid work. Runner hopes to set record with 102 marathons in 102 days

Jacky Hunt-Broersma's goal is to run a minimum of 102 marathons in 102 days, which would set a world record, all while using a carbon-fiber blade. She completed the Boston Marathon on Monday, with 10 more races to go. "Running really changed my life. It helped me accept myself as an amputee," said Hunt-Broersma, 36, whose left leg was amputated after a cancer diagnosis.
