Barely one week of parliamentary sitting days after the date for comment ended, the Federal Government's party room has endorsed its contentious anti-encryption bill and it could be introduced into the House of Representatives as early as Thursday.

An analyst from Citi Research has suggested that it might be a good idea for Amazon to split up its businesses, separating its e-commerce business from its cloud division to avoid any regulatory pressure.
