Good morning,

If you've had a busy weekend, Monday is our chance to catch-you-up with everything that you might have missed.

On the pitch, Preston North End manager Ryan Lowe felt the 4-2 scoreline in his side’s derby defeat to Blackpool didn’t tell the full story.

Off the pitch, Police are to look into claims that there may have been racist and homophobic chanting during the weekend’s match between Blackpool and Preston North End at Bloomfield Road.

Lancashire Police say officers are to discuss the matter with representatives of Blackpool FC in the days ahead.

There was good news for motorists in Preston after it was revealed that after months of roadworks, Ringway will soon reopen with two lanes running in both directions.

Elsewhere in Preston, a driver was caught speeding at what police referred to as a ‘frankly ridiculous’ speed along a 40mph street.

Finally, delighted crowds were treated to a magnificent light spectacle as Astley Illuminated returned at the weekend, you can relive the scenes here.

Have a great day.
