Big Tobacco has been targeting Black and Brown youth with menthol flavored products for decades. Menthol masks the harshness of tobacco, making it easier to start smoking and harder to quit. These nicotine-loaded products are dangerous and pose a risk to kids’ health, so we must end their sale. Los Angeles lawmakers have the power to end the sale of all flavored tobacco products and protect kids from a lifetime of addiction.
