Sign Up Now Before I jump into information about the course, I wanted to share my health journey with you because more often than not, I meet people just like you—that wish they had more energy to do everything they need to do with leftover for the fun things they want to do—but today’s go-go-go lifestyle leaves us all feeling, well, a little burned out. I have struggled with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and food allergies on and off for most of my life, starting when I was a baby. I knew something had to change when the IBS symptoms I was experiencing kicked into high gear while I was studying Engineering at University. I started my healing journey by visiting a holistic practitioner who gave me the guidance I needed to heal my leaky gut. As I gathered momentum, I became really excited about cooking healthy food and I started to play in the kitchen. I had so much fun creating allergen-free recipes and the restrictive diet I was following became a source of culinary inspiration and pushed me to pursue a career in Holistic Nutrition instead. The switch from engineering to nutrition was a slow one for me. I decided to enrol in the part-time evening program at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Upon graduating, I worked with clients in the evenings and on weekends. After keeping up this demanding pace for four years, I was exhausted and my energy was zapped. I had to take a step back and treat myself the same way I would treat one of my clients. I started eating energizing foods and made the lifestyle changes required to get my energy levels back to normal.
