Good evening,

Good evening,

A fresh gust has blown through the sale of UK investor John Laing Group’s local wind farms.

Tonight, Street Talk can reveal which Japanese oil and gas giant has given the auction a shot in the arm, ahead of an October 8 bid date.

The company in question – which hasn’t been spotted in renewable asset sales Down Under in the past – has a $16 billion market capitalisation and is Japan’s biggest petrol seller and refiner.

Meanwhile, insurance broker network owner AUB Group has called in PwC’s dealmakers as it looks to sell its controlling stake in an occupational rehab and NDIS services provider.

Finally, we unveil which mid-market private equity firm is in exclusive talks to buy heavy industrial equipment business Orange Hire.

Happy reading,
