Engaging Literature Students in the Virtual Classroom with the MLA International Bibliography
Wednesday, December 16, 2020
2-3 PM ET, 11 AM-12 PM PT

Faculty members are using the MLA International Bibliography in their virtual teaching of Literature to engage students in the research process and deepen their involvement in the scholarly conversation. To support that practice, the Modern Language Association recently released “Literary Topics,” the fifth subject-area module for use in conjunction with the free teaching resource Understanding the MLA International Bibliography: An Online Course. Please join us on Wednesday, Dec 16 at 2:00 p.m. for “Engaging literature students in the virtual classroom with the MLA International Bibliography” presented by MLA and EBSCO.

Attendees Will Learn:

• How the MLA International Bibliography is being used in the virtual Literature classroom to stimulate discussion, engage students in the research process and deepen their involvement in the scholarly conversation.
• How faculty and librarians can use the MLA’s free teaching tools to help students develop their research skills.
