Big or small, common or elusive, swimming, striding or flying, we want to see your best shots of Canadian wildlife in action. Before entering this category, please review our wildlife photography code of ethics. Weather, seasons and skies Look up, look around; what’s happening in the sky? We’re looking for shots that capture our wild year of weather, from blizzards to thunderstorms, plus other breathtaking natural phenomena — think changing leaves, shimmering auroras, and endless starry skies. Outdoor adventure For many Canadians, outdoor adventure has increasingly become a way of life since the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to see how you enjoy Canada’s geography, whether it’s hiking an alpine trail, skiing or snowshoeing through silent snowy woods, camping beside a peaceful lake — or maybe something that really gets the adrenaline pumping, like ice climbing, wakeboarding or whitewater rafting.
