Jenny Wuori always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but she worried about the financial risk of starting her own company. More than 21 years into her career, she finally did it. Wuori co-founded YourPDi, an online platform that can store your important information — passwords, documents, receipts — all in one place. The Swedish entrepreneur says she was able to take the risk of starting her own business because her former employer, Swedish pharmaceutical company Sobi, let her work half-time while she pursued her new endeavor. If it didn’t work out, she would’ve been allowed to go back to her previous role.

On Monday, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was devastated by fire. It’s not the first.

Parisians and non-Parisians alike watched in horror as the famed Notre Dame cathedral — a world-renowned symbol of religious history, art and Gothic architecture — was devastated by fire on Monday. Flames ripped through its famously gargoyle-lined roof, engulfing the iconic 750-ton wooden spire, which later collapsed. Renovations worth $180 million had been underway at Notre Dame when the fire broke out. Some 400 firefighters worked overnight to contain the flames; at least one has been seriously injured. Authorities are cautiously predicting that they’ve managed to save the cathedral’s two towers, averting complete destruction.

Fans are loath to pick a side in the percolating baseball labor dispute. When the game is interrupted by an expected strike in late March 2022, fans will first despise the billionaire owners as much as the millionaire players and drag them both through the mud with the same horse.

The strike will happen, like it did in 1994 when the World Series was canceled. It’s time for fans to pick a side. Choose the players.
