Everything you need to know about EQ8 and macOS Sonoma

We have been testing EQ products with the newly released macOS Sonoma (14) and found minor compatibility issues with Electric Quilt 8 (EQ8). Primary issues affect printing from EQ8. You can find detailed information in this article on our Support site.

Already using macOS Sonoma? You can still design with EQ8! Please continue to design your beautiful quilts and save your projects. Again, the main issue is with printing.

We are working on a free update for EQ8 and are estimating a November release. Please continue to check the Support site article for updates or contact our office with specific questions.

(We have found no issues with other EQ software or add-ons running on macOS Sonoma. EQ8 is fully compatible with macOS Ventura, Windows 10, and Windows 11.)
