OFCCP Megaprojects will create good jobs for diverse workforce

A new initiative will promote equal opportunity by federal contractors in the construction trades on large federally funded projects, helping to bring more underrepresented communities into the workforce.

With 311,000 new jobs, steady growth continues

The economy added 311,000 jobs in February, continuing a trend of steady, stable progress creating opportunities for workers across the country. At 3.6%, the unemployment rate remained near its historic low.

Lower costs, higher risks – OSHA has fined Dollar General $15M since 2017

OSHA has cited Dollar General after inspectors found blocked exits and other hazards at four stores in Florida and Georgia. The agency proposed an additional $1 million in penalties for the repeat violator of workplace safety law.
