NEW DATA: Discounts Can Help Merchants Reduce Holiday Returns

Two out of three shoppers have already returned or intend to return the purchases they made during the 2020 holiday shopping season – but offering even a 5 percent discount can help retailers convince almost 40 percent of consumers to think twice. In the Online Ordering's Return Round Trip Report, PYMNTS surveyed 2,268 consumers and found that offering discounts can help avert holiday sales returns.
