Hi John, Contrary to what the current US administration may have thought, its belligerent stance against the 5G aspirations of Chinese telecommunications kingpin Huawei does not appear to be winning friends among the company’s rivals.
Ericsson worldwide chief executive Börje Ekholm says the US bid to prevent its competitor Huawei Technology from gaining deals is not giving his company "a free kick" and is creating uncertainty for the global 5G market. Two hundred and fifty million records of conversations between Microsoft support agents and customers spanning the period 2005 to December 2019 lay exposed on the Web and was discovered last month. A breach of Australia’s telemarketing rules has cost American vacation time-share market company Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific $159,600 in a fine imposed by Australia’s telecommunications regulator ACMA. Internet service provider Aussie Broadband has expanded its network, establishing a new call centre in the outer Melbourne suburb of Lynbrook, and partnering with Learn Local to help meet its staffing requirement for the centre. Global enterprise cloud vendor Nutanix has expanded services to MiTek Australia with the supply of hyperconverged infrastructure software, hardware and support services in conjunction with Melbourne-based IT partner Honeylight Consulting.
