Click here Dear friend, This morning, the ERLC brought together leaders and experts from dozens of fields to release a groundbreaking statement of evangelical principles on artificial intelligence. There are many heated debates in Washington, many of them important. But no issues keep me awake at night like those surrounding technology and artificial intelligence. The implications artificial intelligence will have for our future are vast, and it is critical that the church be proactive in understanding AI. It's also critical that the church insists AI be used in ways consistent with the truth that all people possess dignity and worth, created as they are in the image of God. That is why our team has worked tirelessly to put together this statement, which I hope will serve as a guidepost for the church as we continue further into the digital age.
At our event in Washington, D.C. this morning, I joined my colleague Jason Thacker and other experts to share why this statement is so important.
