A wave of social disruption is soaring, as evidenced by the unprecedented market and policy momentum that drove Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in 2020 and 2021. In 2020, total Assets Under Management (AUM) in funds that follow ESG principles exceeded $1 trillion. According to Reuters, in 2021 (through November 30), ESG-focused funds worldwide attracted a record sum of $649 billion in investments. ESG funds now account for 10% of worldwide fund assets. |
