NATIONAL: Location Indie is partnering with Club Getaway to create Camp Indie, a summer camp-themed conference for digital nomads, location independent entrepreneurs, van-lifers, full-time travelers, and other independent entrepreneurs who lead a work-from-anywhere lifestyle. The camp is designed to create in-person connections and foster knowledge sharing through workshops and summer camp activities. Camp Indie will take place on the 310 acres of Club Getaway in Kent, Conn. from June 16-19.
AUSTIN, TEXAS: INDIE Confab 2023—Independent Lodging Congress’ annual event to celebrate individual cities—will take place at South Congress Hotel in Austin from Feb. 7-8. The conference plans to feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and a tour of Austin’s local up-and-coming hospitality scene for its industry-leader attendees. INDIE Confab will also dive into the individual hospitality communities of different cities.

ORLANDO: Universal Orlando Resort announced its newest attraction: Illuminations Villain-Con Minion Blast. It's a blaster, game-based adventure that incorporates immersive environments to give guests an interactive experience. Opening in summer 2023, Illuminations Villain-Con Minion Blast will be located within the new Minion Land on Illumination Ave. alongside other Illumination-themed attractions.
