Changes to our address for service policy and practices Whats happening? On 10 June 2024 we changed our policy so that, apart from applications made solely to change ownership of land or property, all customers will need to formally apply to change an address for service as part of their larger application. If your application is solely to change ownership, our existing practice stands. For all other applications, we will only consider a change of address when you formally apply to update it. What this means for you When the change takes effect Although this new policy applied from Monday 10 June, the change is supported by a transitional period to allow our customers time to adjust their processes. By 2 September 2024, when lodging an application which includes a change of address, all customers must explicitly apply to change an address for service by including a change of address transaction as part of the wider application. Information and support To support the change, we have updated practice guide 55 and are working on enhancements to our external digital services.
