Tourism NT’s International Marketing Managers will be touring the NT in November to conduct market update presentations and meet with tourism industry partners in Darwin, Yulara and Alice Springs. Email erika.stewart@nt.gov.au for registration. AusIndustry in partnership with the Australian Tourism Export Council will hold free workshops in Alice Springs on 8 November and Darwin on 10 November to assist tourism businesses export their product internationally. The Tropical North Queensland Tourism Small Business Development Program together with the Australian Tourism Export Council are holding a 'Know-How for Inbound Tourism Excellence' workshop at TTNQ’s Cairns office on Tuesday 11 October. The second season of the Northern Territory’s Million Dollar Fish competition kicked off last Saturday, with 101 prize tagged barramundi in Top End waters. The 2016 finalists have been announced for the NSW Tourism Awards to be held at Luna Park Sydney on Thursday 24 November. Tourism WA’s Annual Report 2015-16 is now available providing an overview of the agency, achievements, performance measures, key issues, financial reports and more. Destination NSW has three upcoming Export Ready 101 workshops for tourism operators interested in attracting overseas visitors who are travelling to NSW. Tourism Research Australia and Destination NSW have produced 14 factsheets showing the direct and indirect contribution of regional tourism in NSW. Sydney will host the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit in 2017, the region’s largest strategic aviation and travel industry event attracting up to 1,000 of the world’s leading industry executives. The South Australian Tourism Commission has published a short video of Chief Executive Rodney Harrex recapping activity in the third quarter of 2016. Mackay Tourism will showcase itself as a family-friendly holiday destination in its latest campaign, set to attract families within the four-hour drive market and beyond. | ||
