| Global outlook for ETFs – and all the Chandler Publishing news The first week back at work post the holiday season has seen ETF Express publishing its annual investor review of the outlook for ETFs, in association with Qontigo’s STOXX index business. Our investor panel has put its collective mind to issues such as distribution, asset growth, investment trends and specific ETF sectors such as ESG and Cryptocurrencies. To read the report please follow this link Other news from us this week is the launch of the 13th outing of the ETF Express European ETF awards 2023 with the opening of the nomination process for European ETF Service providers. Nominate your favourite firms, and yes that could include your own, for a chance to be in it when the voting starts at the end of January. To nominate your chosen companies (including your own) please click here And yes, there is more news from us at the start of this year: Chandler Publishing has announced that it will launch its popular awards event in Canada in June this year. We will be working with our data partners, Trackinsight, to produce awards for service providers and ETF issuers from Canada, where the first ETF saw the light of day. We have also imported our Wealth Adviser site into the ETF Express site and registered wealth readers will now receive this newsletter on a weekly basis, if they choose too. We have also re-launched our weekly newsletter for our other title Institutional Asset Manager, under the excellent editorship of Gill Wadsworth, who will be writing and editing on both sites for us. We did also manage to produce some interviews and features during the long Christmas holidays. I had the opportunity of speaking with Thomas Cole, CEO of Distillate Capital, about his value ETF launch, and his new launch. The firm has USD900 million in assets, and performance has been ahead of the S&P 500 each calendar year since launch. Cole says that this has put the firm in a strong spot against its peer group, in what he calls ‘rare air’. Cerulli have been busy again and we bring you their note that the drivers are in place to boost the development of fixed income ETFs in the US – a point that was made by a couple of our investors in the Global Outlook. Enjoy all our new offerings in this new year. Beverly Chandler, Managing Editor For live updates please follow us on Twitterand LinkedIn. Companies in this issue
