China dominates world economic recovery
This week’s ETF Express newsletter brings you Global X’s Chelsea Rodstrom detailing the apparently unstoppable economic force that is China, pointing out parallels with the US economy which might not be entirely comfortable reading for many. China is set to be the only world economy to have positive growth in 2020.
We also bring you FiCAS’s launch of a cryptocurrency hedge fund in ETP form on SIX Exchange. This ETP will offer the investor access to a discretionary actively managed portfolio based on 15 cryptocurrencies with the potential of going to fiat cash if things get particularly hairy, and all for traditional hedge fund fees of 2 and 20.
Mediobanca’s Vito Antonio Pinto also took time to talk to us about his firm’s adoption of Bloomberg’s Direct Order Routing (DOR) solution for ETFs. Using it has automated the whole trading process for the bank, reducing the time it takes and making them more efficient.
