Video: Solar energy projects boom in the Middle East
Solar projects are booming in the GCC, according to Syed Mohammad Arif, chairman of Sharjah-based Oman Technical Contracting (OTC). Moreover, contractors and suppliers from Asian countries such as China and India are also paving the way for greater uptake of solar energy construction in the region. Arif says the UAE leads the Middle East's solar energy project pipeline.
