MEP Engineered S01E12: MEP Middle East Conference Agenda 2019
MEP Middle East will host its fifth annual MEP UAE Conference on 24th April this year at Grosvenor House Dubai. In this episode of MEP Engineered – a weekly series by MEP Middle East and #Construction Week – we talk about the agenda for the MEP Conference. The agenda focuses on the challenges and opportunities of the region’s MEP sector. We start the session by talking about the economic review in the region. With the challenges faced from the past years, we are seeing more companies embracing technologies to be make their operations more efficient and reduce costs, hence we are now in the state where everyone can see that we need a time for change and innovation. We can witness lots of these to be applied in several Expo 2020 sites, smart cities and other mega projects like the Museum of the Future. But how can construction companies adapt to a price-competitive market in the Middle East, and can technology help them achieve their profitability goals? The event will bring together more than 150 government bodies, developers, MEP contractors, consultants, engineers and architects.
