A Message From the Editor

Good Morning. Today we're covering a landmark case being considered by Europe’s top court that could allow private equity investors and other third parties to buy shares in German law firms - a move that could radically change the legal market in Germany and elsewhere. Also, Paul Weiss has hired a senior Google lawyer in London for its antitrust practice as it continues its expansion on both sides of the Atlantic. And Latham & Watkins and India's Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co are advising South Korean carmaker Hyundai Motor on its $3 billion initial public offering in Mumbai.
