And a custom-designed LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) scanner “puts advanced depth mapping technology in your pocket.” The iPhone 12 Pro even lets architects create 3D maps of a room or building and allows movie producers to create augmented reality (AR) shots or videos on the spot.
