Everybody is in Sales!
I heard that from my Dad dozens of times throughout my life - and even now as I listen to and read the many programs and books that he authored. The truth is, we are always selling something! Ideas and relationships need trust-based selling just as much as products and services do.
However, the reality is that most people never take the time to learn how to sell effectively, and that impacts them in every area of their lives. Successful selling follows a process and requires integrity every step of the way. It doesn’t matter if you are not in “sales” officially, or a non-traditional sales person, or in full time traditional sales, your success will be determined by how well you serve your client.
