One of my favorite things about the start of a new year is diving into the latest trends, and 2024’s list does not disappoint. Pantone chose Peach Fuzz as its Color of the Year, interior designers keep raving about mixed materials, and stylists are weighing in on the fashion staples we’ll keep seeing over the next 12 months—and I’m thrilled that everyday basics, preppy pieces, and bow details made the cut.

As it so happens, I feel most confident wearing items that are timeless and comfortable but still add a little flair, so I’m particularly excited for the rise of cable knit cardigans, classic button downs, oversized blazers, bow blouses, and ‘90s-esque New Balance sneakers. One trend I’ll definitely be ignoring, however: low-rise jeans. I cannot live through that era again, and I feel like I’m not alone in that sentiment!
