| | Thursday, March 31, 2022 | Happy Thursday, everyone! If you're like me, you're simply counting down the hours until this weekend because that marks your final Fantasy Baseball drafts -- typically the most meaningful ones. Whether it's your home league that's been going for over a decade with a rising tide of smack talk or a larger buy in and deeper league -- the best leagues tend to do everything in their power to host the draft the final weekend before the regular season gets underway. The reason is simple -- minimize the variance of roster movement and most importantly injuries. If you were drafting even just two weeks ago, your roster might have both Jack Flaherty and Zac Gallen as your SP2 and SP3 right now. And that would suck. | Today we're going to try to turn this newsletter into a bit of a mini draft guide -- or draft reference -- however you want to call it. The objective is to provide a slew of resources within this one newsletter that you can reference during your drafts and in the coming hours before them. We'll dive into Scott White's latest positional tiers, recent updates from the entire Fantasy Baseball Today crew on their sleepers, breakouts and busts picks for 2022, where you can find all of our recent mock draft and real-league draft recaps, deep sleepers for your late-round draft stashes (keeper leagues), and more. So without further ado, let's dive into it. | And of course, as always, you can follow to make sure you get the latest episodes of Fantasy Baseball Today right when they drop on Apple and Spotify. | | Printable draft guide | The guide includes top-300 rankings sortable for both Roto and H2H formats. Each top 300 includes every player's ADP and our auction/salary cap values for said player. You'll also get position-by-position rankings, a lineup chart where you can fill out your rosters as you go for snake drafts and a salary cap tracker for auction drafts. And the best part -- it's all printable (for those who, like me, enjoy the process of crossing out names as they come off the board.) | Mock drafts | We've done a whole lot of mock drafts recently, and went into hyper-speed mode once the lockout was lifted. Below are links to Scott's recaps of each mock with key takeaways and results (where every player was drafted). There are also a wide variety of mocks, including AL and NL-only leagues that might fit your format more specifically. | 3/30: 12-team Roto mock 3/25: NL-only salary cap draft 3/24: AL-only salary cap draft 3/22: 12-team Roto salary cap draft 3/18: 12-team H2H salary cap draft 3/15: 12-team H2H categories mock 3/9: Tout Wars draft 3/8: 12-team H2H points mock 3/2: 12-team Roto mock | Sleepers, Breakouts, Busts | | Below we'll highlight some of the top sleepers, breakouts and busts picks from Scott, Frank and Chris. In draft, it's incredibly important to know when to strike at each position and tiers help immensely with this. If you start to see a tier dwindle down, you know it's time to act fast.
